Dan, Other Dan, and I went to check out the Monterey Highland Games.
I found a Clan Galbraith exhibit!!!
I was super excited, and also, the people pretending to be Galbraiths were super excited to meet an actual Galbraith.
They were there as an example of olden times clan things.
What's a highland games festival without some bagpipes?
We wandered around, had some scotch eggs and other snacks and I was in a parade!
Oh, and we did a scotch tasting. Which was wonderful.
We watched some of the actual highland games, but got so absorbed in them that we didn't remember to take photos. It was ridiculous how excited we got about the games. It was a really good day.
This concludes our adventures for today.
