Update on Tantalum - She had a bunch more tests, we had several more hard conversations, and decided she should have the surgery to remove her spleen. She came out of surgery fine, and I was able to go see her on Sunday. She was a bit out of it and had some nasty bruising, but the vets said she was doing well. She'll have to stay a little longer to recover.

This weekend, the Embassy community had an Easter celebration at Villa Taverna. Villa Taverna is where we would keep our Ambassador to Italy......if we had one.
The 5 and under Easter egg hunt was probably good for Max, but way too easy for KC.
Max really liked collecting things to put in her basket.
Taking a photo with your sister is the WORST. This one turned out...okay.
We are not sure about the Easter Bunny.
All in all it was a very nice event and I think the girls had a lot of fun.
Today Max is 18 months old!
Today we met up with several of KC's classmates to pick tulips. They also had some farm animals.
Asini! (I know the word for donkeys in Italian. It's super helpful in day to day conversation.)
